SUMMARY / OBJECTIVE
The IT and Data Analyst - Program Integration Specialist serves as a strategic bridge between Workforce Snohomish's core program operations and IT infrastructure, ensuring technology serves as a primary driver for organizational success. This role combines technical expertise with deep program understanding to develop IT solutions that enhance transparency, support data-driven decision making, and establish reliable reporting cadences that demonstrate organizational impact to stakeholders and the community.

Strategic Program-IT Integration
- Partners directly with program teams to identify technology needs and translate program requirements into IT solutions
- Develops and maintains automated data workflows that provide regular, reliable insights to program leadership and stakeholders
- Creates compelling data visualizations that communicate program impact and organizational value to diverse audiences
- Establishes reporting cadences that support transparent communication with funders, partners, and the public
- Collaborates with IT Director to align technology investments with program priorities and organizational strategy
Data Management and Analytics
- Manages critical data transitions including ETO to WA Works migration and ongoing platform support
- Generates ad hoc reports and maintains board-level reporting requirements
- Evaluates and cleans databases to ensure data integrity and accessibility
- Maintains public-facing data graphics that showcase organizational impact
Technology Support and Innovation
- Provides technical support for software, hardware, network, and security systems
- Manages helpdesk operations ensuring timely resolution of IT requests
- Learns and implements new platforms (Cognito, Miro, Smartsheet) as organizational needs evolve
- Documents processes and workflows to build organizational knowledge and capacity
- Trains staff on technology tools and data interpretation
REQUIRED SKILLS / ABILITIES
- Program-focused mindset with ability to understand workforce development operations and translate needs into technical solutions
- Advanced Python programming for data analysis and automation
- SQL proficiency for database management and querying
- Data visualization expertise creating compelling graphics for diverse audiences
- Database architecture knowledge including structure, relationships, and optimization
- Customer service excellence with ability to support both technical and program staff
- Strategic communication skills to present technical information to non-technical stakeholders
- Project management abilities to coordinate cross-functional initiatives
- Analytical problem-solving with focus on organizational impact
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Relevant experience, demonstrated competencies, or equivalent combination of education and professional development. We value:
- 1+ years maintaining computer systems and supporting end users
- Database management and data analytics experience in any sector
- Proven ability creating production-ready visualizations for professional reports and web content
- Experience with workforce development, social services, or similar mission-driven environments (preferred but not required)

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Work involves collaboration across departments, requiring both independent technical work and team-based problem solving. Standard office environment with occasional travel for training or stakeholder meetings. Physical requirements include prolonged computer work, lifting up to 30 pounds, and configuring workstations.
