Through strategic partnerships and innovative programs, the organization is transforming how talent meets opportunity in our community. This is achieved through three core program areas of Job Seeker Training and Re-employment Programs, Business Engagement, and Financial Empowerment.

What We Do

Workforce Snohomish serves as the fiscal agent for the Future Workforce Alliance, Snohomish County's Local Workforce Development Board. We work to connect people to jobs, businesses to a trained workforce, and individuals to the education and training necessary to further their careers. Our goal is to grow the economic health and vitality of Snohomish County for both job seekers and businesses. All Workforce Snohomish programs work together to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Workforce Snohomish integrates funding streams and coordinates service delivery with trusted community-based partners to maximize impact. To address structural barriers and advance economic mobility, Workforce Snohomish seeks to:

  2. Enhance Financial Empowerment: Scale financial coaching through integration and partnership, embedding powerful resources of matched savings programs to improve long-term economic stability.
  3. Strengthen Organizational Capacity: Develop new capabilities to test innovative practices, facilitate cross-sector collaboration, and implement data-driven solutions.
